elcome to the University of Houston's Homeland Security information site. As the nation enters a new phase on the war against terrorism, the highest priority of the UH administration is providing and maintaining as safe and secure a campus environment as possible. We are committed to continuing our pursuit of excellence in research, teaching and service, which includes fostering and supporting multi-disciplinary, innovative research, study and technology development that addresses national security concerns.

The objectives of this Homeland Security information site are to: promote and support research, study, and technology development; help align university-wide strengths and resources with America's national security priorities; and provide information on homeland security funding opportunities, conferences, workshops, and emergency preparedness. This site will continue to evolve as opportunities and information become available.
