Research and Scholarship Committee
Makes recommendations and policies affecting the research community on campus, and provides a forum for internal discussion, initiates policies touching on research matters, gathers and disseminates information to the faculty, and provides a faculty voice.

Research Policies
Review policies on responsible conduct of research, conflict of interest, data access and retention, ethical conduct in research, and others.

Effort Reporting (aka Time and Effort)
Federal awards, federal flow-thru awards, and awards with cost-shared effort must report on effort on each project.

Export Control Regulations & Resources
Federal export control laws prohibit the unlicensed export certain materials and information for reasons of national security or protection of trade. Criminal sanctions, including money and/or prison sentences for individuals, can apply in the case of violations.
