RA - Research Administrator
RAMP - Research Administration Management Portal, an web-based program for managing proposals and awards. It pulls data from the RD2K database and displays data customized for the user and type of user (dean/administrator/investigator).
RD2K - A database used by University of Houston employees to manage proposals and awards. It does not customize results to the user and an initial search is necessary to access data.
REFS - A document upload/submittal program phased out in August 2011. REFS functionality has been incorporated into RAMP, a comprehensive proposals and awards management program with built-in document upload/submittal capabilities.
RFS - Research Financial Services, an office of the Division of Research.
RIC - Research Information Center, an office of the Division of Research.
SGP - Small Grants Program, a competitive internal award.
