The Texas Obesity Research Center housed in the Department of Health and Human Performance at the University of Houston is hosting its inaugural research conference in the Rockwell Pavilion on April 9 and 10. Highlights include key representatives in obesity funding from the NIH and CDC, nationally known experts speaking on obesity and public health, integrative biology and clinical applications, a mock NIH study section panel review using the new, enhanced review criteria, and keynote speaker Dr. James F. Sallis. Advance registration ends April 2.
