Some guidelines indicate that applications must be submitted to Grants.gov by 8:00 pm EST. This time frame is designed to accommodate applicants in the Pacific time zone.
PIs should interpret this to mean that applications must be submitted to Grants.gov by 5:00 pm local time and are reminded that the Office of Contracts and Grants does close at 5:00 pm.
